Eligibility

Candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, architecture or science — including final-year students — can apply. Commerce graduates are eligible for specific papers.

Exam pattern

GATE is a single three-hour computer-based test with 65 questions worth 100 marks. It includes general aptitude and the core subject paper you choose.
