Verification Policy

The workflow

Content on TimesOfExam moves through a defined pipeline:

1. Source discovery — official notifications and announcements are located.
2. AI extraction — AI drafts structured data (dates, eligibility, fees) from the source material.
3. Structured data — facts are stored in typed fields, not only prose.
4. Validation — automated checks compare against the source and flag conflicts.
5. Editor review — a human editor verifies every important fact against the official source.
6. Verified & published — the content receives a verification record with source URL, checked timestamp and approving editor.
7. Monitoring — sources are re-checked; changes create updates and revision history.

Verification statuses

Content carries one of: Draft, AI-researched, Source found, Pending verification, Verified, Published, Updated or Expired. You will always see the current status on exam pages and updates.

Date precision

Dates are stored with a precision of Known, Tentative or Not announced. We never substitute a guessed date for a missing one — unannounced dates are shown as “To be announced” or “Awaiting official confirmation”.

Final authority

Official examination authorities remain the final authority. Students must verify critical information — especially deadlines, eligibility, fees, exam dates, results and admissions — against the official notification of the conducting body.
